Bluetooth 4.0 Now Available For Energy Efficient Wireless Technology

Guys, if you have a phone with Bluetooth feature, certainly was not new to hear the name. The Bluetooth lets you send files or conduct an internet connection without any cord. Very easy and not hard, isn't it?

The latest version of Bluetooth has now comes to meet the demands of wireless technology, which reportedly targeted the low-energy applications in the areas of health, fitness and shopping center security. Of course with the appendage is energy efficient now being intensively conducted so that the technology not only offers the sophistication, but also did not drain the existing energy.

Mobinity.Net: New Social Networking for Cellular

There is new news for Social Networking Site's fancy ....

There was news that a new social networking for special phone users which always mobile will be introduced late by this March. Its name is .... Mobinity.net, a.k.a. mobile community network, specifically designed to take advantage of phone and smartphone features. Model of this networking site is single sign-in. They services include chat, which for the first phase is the Yahoo Messenger and facebook, and followed Friendster and MySpace.

Interesting feature here is the synchronization profile picture on Facebook with friends in the photo on your mobile phone contacts. Thus, images displayed on the caller Facebook will also appear on the screen as Caller ID. Likewise birthdays and important dates can be synchronized with the calendar in the phone.

Another facility is the Locator. So for Mobity.Net users, which supports GPS and cell phone enabled LBS, can find their Facebook friends who was in the same location. Ofcourse their LBS also need to be active. In addition, there are also features of a mobile citizen journalist, where users can take pictures with camera phones, recorded narration, add comments and download it as news to major news portals for Internet users to read and mobinity via phone.

Power Pack 1 - come and get it!

The team is pleased to announce that Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 has been released to manufacturing (RTM) and is now available on the Microsoft Download Center!

The English version is available now and German, Spanish and French versions will be available on the Download Center soon. Windows Home Server customers who don’t download it on their own will receive Power Pack 1 via Windows Update in August, and the new Chinese and Japanese versions will RTM in August, too.

As many know, Power Pack 1 provides a range of new enhancements, including support for home computers running Windows Vista x64 editions, backup of home server Shared Folders, improvements to remote access, more efficient power consumption and better performance. And, of course, it delivers a fix for the data corruption bug. Documentation for Power Pack 1 (Build #1800, to those who have been part of the beta testing) is available here.

Our OEM partners will be updating their systems with Power Pack 1 and HP will release a software update for the HP MediaSmart Server, delivering enhanced media streaming capabilities from PacketVideo, server-side anti-virus from McAfee and compatibility with 64-bit home PCs.

Windows Home Server can now be purchased in 50 countries worldwide and a growing ecosystem of third-party software developers has released approximately 60 Add-in programs extending Windows Home Server’s capabilities. To help fuel this development we have updated the Windows Home Server software development kit for Power Pack 1, including new support for the client PC side, i.e. notifications to/from home computers.

Computer Virus through One Million

The number of viruses, worms, trojans, and malicious program (malware) that threatens the computer has been through a million species. This figure is the result of monitoring conducted Symantec, the antivirus maker, which reported in its annual report Internet Security Thread Report.

Symantec said that the growth of malicious programs are still experiencing a high increase. Enormous growth occurred in the last year. The report stated during the second half of 2007 found 499,811 new malicious programs or up 136 percent from the same period the previous year.

Throughout 2007, Symantec detected 711,912 new malicious programs. These findings increase the number of viruses and malware that is detected by Symantec to 1,122,311 species.

Almost two-thirds of these malicious programs made during the year 2007. The majority of viruses designed to attack the computer with Microsoft Windows operating systems and more sinister variant of the virus outbreak ever before.

Symantec expected high growth induced increase in digital crime done professionally. The makers of malicious programs may recruit competent programmer-programmer which controls the various forms of attack techniques.

Motive of the attack was to steal the personal data to hijack the computer owner credit cards and the like. The combination of these factors lead to increased risk of threats to computer users connected to the Internet.
